District Operations - Community Engagement

The Eagle Pass ISD Police Department is committed to building strong, positive relationships and fostering trust throughout the school district and the community. The Community Engagement Division works to strengthen these connections by promoting open communication, encouraging collaboration, and developing meaningful partnerships with students, parents, staff, and community members.

An important part of our mission is creating opportunities to educate and empower students through proactive outreach and prevention programs. Our officers actively engage with students and community members through interactive presentations, educational activities, and awareness initiatives designed to promote safety, responsibility, and positive decision-making.

Through these efforts, we address important topics such as bullying prevention, gang awareness, substance abuse prevention, and other safety-related concerns. Our goal is to provide valuable resources, increase awareness, and help create a safer, more informed, and supportive environment for everyone in the Eagle Pass ISD community.

Strengthening Community Connections Through Outreach

The Eagle Pass ISD Police Department was proud to participate in a local school festival, where officers had the opportunity to showcase some of the equipment and resources used in their daily operations throughout the district.

The event provided a great opportunity to connect with students, parents, and families while giving them a closer look at the tools and resources our officers use to help maintain a safe learning environment across Eagle Pass ISD.

We appreciate the invitation and the opportunity to take part in this community event. Activities like these allow our officers to build positive relationships, encourage open communication, and strengthen the trust between our department and the community we serve.

Operation Blue Santa

The Eagle Pass ISD Police Department is proud to support Operation Blue Santa, a community outreach initiative dedicated to bringing joy and holiday cheer to families in need throughout the Eagle Pass community. Through the generosity of local residents, businesses, and community organizations, this program helps provide toys and other essential items to children and families during the holiday season.

Each year, our officers work alongside district staff and community partners to encourage donations and promote the spirit of giving. Collection efforts may include designated donation boxes at district facilities and school campuses, providing students, employees, and community members with opportunities to participate and make a difference.

Through Operation Blue Santa, the Eagle Pass ISD Police Department hopes to strengthen community partnerships, spread kindness, and remind families that they are supported by the community around them.

Our goal is to make the holiday season brighter for local children and families while building meaningful relationships through compassion, generosity, and service.
